Delete your WinJar account

You can delete your WinJar account, and everything in it, yourself — from inside the app or on the web. You do not need to ask us, and you do not need to wait.

From the app (iOS, Android or the web)

Sign in and open your jar.
Scroll to the bottom of the page, to the section headed Account.
Tap Delete my account.
Read what will be removed, type DELETE to confirm, and tap Delete everything.

That is it. Deletion happens immediately — there is no queue, no grace period, and no recycle bin.

What is deleted

Every win in your jar, including the text of each entry.
Every screenshot or image you attached to a win, removed from our file storage.
Every share link you created. Any link you have already sent to someone stops opening your jar straight away.
Your account record, including your email address and any pending sign-in links.
The sign-in rate-limiting entries that held your email address.

Nothing is retained for analytics or marketing, because WinJar does not do either. We keep no backup copy of your jar that we could restore from, which is the other half of the same promise: once it is gone, it is gone for us too.

Want a copy first?

Before you delete, use Export PDF in your jar to download everything as a dated document. Once the account is deleted we cannot produce that for you.

If you cannot get into the app

Email astefanus17@gmail.com from the address on the account and ask for deletion. We will complete it within 30 days and confirm when it is done.

Deleting one win instead

If you only want to remove a single entry rather than the whole account, each win has a Delete control on it within the edit window shown on the entry. Share links can be revoked individually from the Share dialog at any time.
